The Complete Fitness4Life Personal Training Philosophy

Ever embarked on a training programme only to find that you don't get the results you want or the results are only temporary?

We are all completely individual, with completely individual needs and requirements to address if we are to get the maximum out of our training programmes. We all have our own slightly different jigsaw puzzles to put together. Pick the pieces at random, and your jigsaw won't fit together properly. Take time to study and get a good understanding of your jigsaw, and you will be able to piece it together perfectly.

If everybody followed the exact same programme for a given period of time, would we all end up with exactly the same results? Of course not. This is because the particular programme in question is much more suited to some people than others.

There are countless different factors to consider when setting a successful and appropriate personal training programme. Postural Alignment, core strength/weakness, flexibility (or lack of) in certain muscles, hydration levels, past injury considerations, and food intolerances are just a few examples. Study, analyse, and implement a training programme based on these factors, and you will reach your goals in the optimum time possible. Follow a programme without consideration of these factors, and the result could be anything from you not reaching your goals, to you getting injured.

The reality is that many personal trainers don't care what your jigsaw looks like, and don't take the time to find out. They will just set you the same programme as they do for everyone else, and hope the pieces somehow manage to fit together.
